Pine Avenue corridor and road infrastructure at Union Town in Lahore

Union Developers (Pvt.) Limited has reached a major project milestone at Union Town, an urban community approved by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA). Following six months of construction activity, the developer has completed critical infrastructure installations, transitioning the master-planned project into a possession-ready state for both residential and commercial property owners.

Infrastructure Milestones and Development Progress

The progression achieved over the initial half-year of development includes several core utilities and civil works. The developer has concluded work on internal road networks across the project, installed streetlighting systems, and finalized the underground sewerage network. These foundational services allow plot buyers to take physical possession of land within the community.

A central engineering element of the development is Pine Avenue, a 150-feet-wide signal-free corridor passing directly through Union Town. The wide thoroughfare provides direct passage to individual residential sectors and connects the community’s commercial zones, allowing uninterrupted vehicular movement throughout the site.

Connectivity and Strategic City Access

Positioned within urban Lahore, Union Town features triple road access designed to manage traffic integration with surrounding transit arteries. The site connects directly via Kadir Topbas Chowk, Abdul Sattar Edhi Road, and Khayaban-e-Jinnah, facilitating transit across eastern, southern, and central sectors of the city.

Transit measurements highlighted by the developer place several key municipal, academic, and transit hubs within short driving distances. The site is located approximately two minutes from the M2 Motorway and three minutes from both the University of Central Punjab (UCP) and Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. Additionally, access points to the Lahore Ring Road and Canal Road sit within a five-minute driving radius.

Residential and Commercial Plot Breakdown

The master plan encompasses dedicated sectors for living, commerce, and recreation, including integrated community parks. Residential offerings within the project span plot cuts sized from 3 Marla up to 20 Marla, designed to accommodate varying household sizes and planning requirements.

Commercial zoning includes plots ranging from 2 Marla to 10 Marla. A notable portion of these commercial allocations directly faces the 150-feet-wide Pine Avenue corridor, targeting business enterprises, retail outlets, and related corporate services operating within the growing urban development.

Corporate Vision and Project Scope

According to Union Developers, the project aligns with the company’s development framework branded as Buland Mayar-e-Zindagi, which focuses on integrating residential living spaces with active commercial environments.

Speaking on the completion of the initial six-month milestone, Naeem Ahmad Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Union Developers, emphasized the long-term intent behind the site planning. Malik stated that Union Town reflects the firm’s commitment to delivering a quality lifestyle through thoughtful planning, modern infrastructure, and a community designed to serve generations to come.

With the baseline civil infrastructure in place, including road surfaces, drainage infrastructure, utilities, and community recreational spaces, the developer continues progress on handovers across the LDA-sanctioned site.
